Could you ever love a robot? A computer? Would it ever be ‘normal‘ to love a robot baby? A robot human? Would human/robot human relationships be wrought with stigma? If it is considered unnatural, why?
If you could upgrade parts of a robot, would it be the same robot? If you assembled all the old parts would you have two robots the same? How many parts would you have to change before it became a new robot?

What sounds better, blue aliens or massive dinosaurs? Easy, dinosaurs. So instead of Avatar (which I’m sure will be good… I mean, so much hype, it has to be…surely…) why not reboot the Jurassic Park franchise with a massive sterioscopic 3D dino rampage? Apart from a new Tron film, I cannot think of any better use of this amazing earth shattering new technology – assuming it is as amazing as some random people on the internet say.
Okay, I still want to see this but I also want to see what a 20-foot tall tyrannosaurus rex looks like running straight at me.

The Sun happens to be 400 times the Moon’s diameter, and 400 times as far away. That coincidence means the Sun and Moon appear to be the same size when viewed from Earth. A total solar eclipse, in which the Moon is between the Earth and Sun, blocks the bright light from the Sun’s photosphere, allowing us to see the faint glow from the corona, the Sun’s outer atmosphere.

This is partly an excuse to post my favourite picture of animal cruelty. Peter Breg has been taking about the coming Dune film.
Berg sees the story more as an epic adventure. “[The book] was much more muscular and adventurous, more violent and possibly even a little bit more fun,” Berg said. “I think those are all elements of my experience of the book that can be brought in without offending the die-hard fans of the Bene Gesserit and Kwisatz Haderach. There’s a more dynamic film to be made.”
Sounds promising although I can’t see this ending too well without it becoming two films or maybe a Lord of the Rings style trilogy. As for what David Lynch did with Dune, it was never really Dune.
God created Arrakis to train the faithful.

London can be a fantastic place. It is a fantastic place. But I don’t want to be here anymore. The transport is awful. The weather is awful. It costs too much and the place is too damn big. I’ve lived here all my life. I need a break.
Too true.

Yesterday night I found myself in the surreal position of listening to Matt & Kim on my bicycle in the snow while being hit by a car. I’m still a little bit spaced out.
My bike. Not the most suitable.
I’m not sure it was anyone’s fault. I was waiting for a car to pass to join a road, ironically I was being cautious, the car tried to turn but due to the ice it had only lined itself up with where I was situated and carried on going. Not quite sure how I’m in one piece but it’s best not to question good luck. I’m still a bit spaced out.
I’ve got a pretty apt song for the occasion.
Anoraak – Nightdrive With You (Pomomofo Remix)
Maybe I should have put up Cut Copy‘s Out There On The Ice. Any other suggestions?

I hate Battlestar Galactica. I hate it because I know one day soon it will end. Every episode I watch brings leaves me with one less. However, not to be too despondent I have for no especially good reason, except maybe that the final run has started, chosen this week to be ‘Battlestar Galactica‘ week.
In order to be part of this momentous occasion you may want to do the following…
- Replace all expletives with “Frack“.
- Reassure everyone that whatever is going on is apart of “God’s Plan“. Not sure how do do this? Ask Sarah Palin.
- Only respond to your Viper call sign. Make sure it sounds imposing…like ‘Husker‘…no wait…’Hotdog‘…Well at least make sure it is original, like ‘Kat‘…Okay, pick whatever you want. Good luck explaining this one to everyone.
- Imagine Tricia Helfer is your own personal Jesus.
Make me a believer...
- Suspect everyone of being a cylon.
- Especially yourself.
- Any confusion that occurs is due to DRAIDUS interference.
People’s reactions are priceless. This should cause at least a few frightened looks.
Back from space and to the music…

Not sure where this came from. It’s up on Justice‘s MySpace.
Wait a minute, this sounds like rock and or roll.
I’m ill, again, so excuse the short post. Also noticed Danger is playing in London…that is London, Ontario…What the hell? There’s only one London and I’m in it. You can take our name but you can’t take our spirit!!…or lack of manners…actually I guess you could take that.
